The Rider2Leader programme led by Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland (DMBinS).
This year we will be delivering progressive Rider2Leader programmes that look to address some of the most frequent concerns we get from women looking to go into mountain bike leadership; namely a lack of confidence in technical components like navigation and trailside repairs and a fear they would be holding up the rest of the group when riding.
We know there are some awesome women out there who would make great leaders and we also know the more women we have out there leading, the more women will be inspired to take that challenge, its a domino effect and we want to accelerate that.
These two days will take you through the Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leadership Award with 2 of our amazing tutors / aspiring tutors. The 2 days combine training and assessment.
